ooh. stumbled upon this show 'the residents' on tv2 when i channel surfed. its like a reality tv show only that its about real life patients and residents in some hospital. its reali touching and sad to watch it.

the doctors carried out this operation called domino transplant. they took half a liver of a healthy living donor(doug) and transplanted it into jeff whose liver is failing coz of some enzyme that is infecting his heart too. they later took jeff's failing liver and transplanted it to lily who has liver cancer. lily can survive on jeff's liver for at least 29 years before she starts suffering the same symptoms as jeff. so yeah. it was another 29 years for her. the whole transplant although complicated was reali amazing actually. doug's liver saved 2 lives indirectly. it was touching reali coz jeff could not haf survived for long if he hadnt had the transplant. and after the transplant he planned to marry his fiancee. aww. so touching i almost cried.

and there was this resident in the hospital whose brain got infected with something even the doctors didnt know what it was. she was reali determined to finish her residency in the hospital and go finish up her medicine practice there. but it was reali sad when she had a epileptic seizure while having dinner and fell to a coma. gosh. sooo sad.

wah. sedih ah. cannot take it. but yeah it was a good show. hafta watch it next wk.
